Professional Footballers' Association Annual Reports

The Project

I designed annual reports for the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) for over 10 years. Prior to my involvement with their design and production, the reports were very basic and formal, literally just a report of the Annual General Meeting and the financial accounts for the year. Just a basic Word document.

The brief was to create a modern design and present the PFA as a dynamic and progressive organisation, that was not just concerned with the financial interests of its members. The Association is very much involved with grassroots football, anti-racism campaigns and supporting members in their careers once their football career is over.

Fortunately we had access to all the best football pictures of the year and combined these with a contemporary graphical approach.

The Client

The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) is the trade union for professional footballers in England and Wales. Established in 1907, it aims to protect and promote the welfare of players, offering support for contractual, legal, and financial matters. The PFA also focuses on community and charity initiatives, advocating for players' rights and welfare.
