Annual Report Design

A well-crafted annual report design serves as a visual storytelling tool, effectively communicating a company's achievements, goals, and financial performance. Clarity is paramount, with a clean layout and readable typography enhancing comprehension. Consistent branding elements, such as color schemes and logos, create a cohesive and professional appearance. Engaging infographics and charts simplify complex data, making it accessible to a broader audience. Thoughtful use of images, whether of key team members or impactful projects, adds a human touch. Striking a balance between text and visuals ensures the report is both informative and visually appealing. Ultimately, a good annual report design captivates stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust in the organisation's narrative.

Professional Footballers' Association

I designed annual reports for the PFA for more than 10 years. It was a real challenge to come up with a new and fresh design every year, but it was always a rewarding and interesting project.

Legal Services Ombudsman

The Legal Services Ombudsman investigates claims against the legal profession. It's a fairly dry subject, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to add some humanity and warmth to the subject matter. Striking portraits reflect the serious nature of some of the complaints and emphasise the personal scale of their work.

Progress Housing

A report and accounts doesn't have to be dull. For Progress Housing, a Lancashire based housing association, I used the world's best building material to create a series of 'community dioramas' to reflect the organisations diversity and aspirations.
