The Project

Rossendale Council's sustainability strategy is a comprehensive plan aimed at fostering environmental responsibility and resilience. It prioritizes renewable energy adoption, waste reduction, and green infrastructure development. Community engagement and education are key components, promoting a shared commitment to a sustainable future. The strategy aligns with global environmental goals and aims are to make the council's activities net-zero carbon by 2030 and to work in partnership to reduce carbon emissions for the whole of Rossendale.

A clean design utilising the council's branding identity was infused with images of local people and projects that reinforced to the aims and objectives of the strategy.
